From October 16 to January 8 2012 the Palazzo Te hosts an exhibition dedicated to latin poet

“Manto, who searched through many lands, then settled in the place where I was born; and on this I would have thee hear me for a little.” This is how Virgil, in Canto XX of Dante’s Inferno (tr. Sinclair), tells the Florentine poet of the origin of the city where he, the Latin poet, was born – Mantua.
